It isn’t often you discover a performer whose creative ability takes your breath away in the first 30 seconds of hearing their music. A style so innovative in concept and contemporary in style, established Jazz artists you’ve come to know and enjoy over time are pushed aside to accommodate a musical sensation so rare you’re knocked off your feet immediately.
Marco Marconi is an accomplished, classically-trained Jazz pianist whose skill as a composer so naturally distinctive and seemingly effortless, he’s earned a reputation as a class act on the British festival circuit, the Fazioli Concert Hall in Venice and the buzzing London Jazz Club scene. The Marco Marconi trio includes Tom Farmer (double bass) and Emiliano Caroselli (drums) to continue the Trio project, releasing their latest outstanding album Trialogue on the 33Jazz label in July 2017 at the 606 Club in London. The album received rave reviews including one by Sammy Stein for Jazz in Europe: Marco is a breath of fresh air for dedicated Jazz fans everywhere.
“Pianist Marco Marconi is a remarkable musician possessed of rare talent. He has superb touch, with a highly refined sense of dynamics which he applies skilfully to suit the varying moods of the repertoire he is performing, whether solo or in Trio.” Alan Bates, Owner, Candid Records
“An exceptional talent” John Priestly, Owner, Sirocco Music
Miss Kiddy and the Cads are a unique vintage musical sensation featuring 5 piece band and stunning tap dancer.Miss Kiddy turns back the clock on every performance to a time when style and sass were the main order of the day. Expect all the hits – from Bowie to Beyonce – with a vintage make over; swinging beats and toe-tapping finesse! Show stopping vocals, sensational band, stunning costumes, spectacular tap dancing, and the decadence of Vintage Hollywood all wrapped up in a sophisticated musical comedy revue.
“The (Miss Kiddy and the Cads) show is hugely entertaining… these imaginative new (but old) versions are playful, sophisticated and witty. The band are note-perfect and tightly drilled…. the crowd loved it.” Review from ‘I Went to the Theatre’ June 2017
“Miss Kiddy & The Cads are a fantastic band with a vintage twist on contemporary songs delivered with all the verve and style of a 40’s Speak Easy. Highly highly recommended for any event” The Playboy Club, London
