Sunday 12 August
‘Uke Can’t Be Serious’ is a Bath based group of ukulele players. They play a variety of ukuleles including bass, baritone, concert, soprano and piccolo sizes. They sing and play a wide repertoire of songs from traditional American county/roots music through to interpretations of more recent compositions. They play regularly in Bath but also elsewhere around the country. The band donates all their profits to charities amounting to £18,000 since they formed a few years ago.

BETHAN SEMMENS & BEATRICE NEWMAN
Sunday 19 August
Bethan Semmens (Harp) and Beatrice Newman (Cello) have been performing together since they were both studying at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music in London. They are on the Live Music Now scheme which gives them opportunities to perform interactive concerts in Care Homes and workshops in Special Needs Schools. They have enjoyed adapting their repertoire to explore the sound world of these two instruments together.
